Our client, DB MECHANICAL AND TYRES PTY LTD, is looking for an experienced Motor Mechanic to support its vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair operations.
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum + super
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing, servicing and repairing motor vehicles and their mechanical components.
- Diagnoses mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles.
- Services and maintains engines, brakes, steering, suspension and transmission systems.
- Inspects, repairs and replaces worn or defective vehicle components.
- Performs scheduled servicing, oil changes, lubrication and tune-ups.
- Uses computerised diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults.
- Tests and adjusts vehicles after repairs to ensure proper performance.
- Follows manufacturer specifications and relevant service manuals.
- Maintains proper records of servicing and repair work.
- Maintains a clean, organised and safe workshop.
Qualifications:
- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV in Automotive/Vehicle Mechanical Technology or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
