Experienced Security Technician – CCTV, Access Control & Alarms
About the role
Tactical Group is seeking an experienced
Electronic Security Technician to join our team.
You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, fault finding and commissioning of a range of electronic security systems.
Our projects are primarily commercial and located throughout Sydney, with occasional regional work.
Interstate travel may also be required on rare occasions.
Key responsibilities
- Installation, servicing and commissioning of CCTV, access control, alarm and intercom systems
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Programming and system configuration
- Security system upgrades and preventative maintenance
- Commercial fit-outs and upgrade works
- Client handover and basic system training
- Completing job documentation and service reports accurately
- Working independently across service and installation jobs
About you
- Previous experience as an Electronic Security Technician
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Takes pride in neat, professional workmanship
- Reliable, organised and confident communicating with clients
- Comfortable working across both installation and service work
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Appropriate NSW Security Licence
- Holds, or is able to obtain, the relevant cabling registration/licensing
- Australian working rights
A police check and licence verification will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
