Synergie is seeking aFreight Handlerfor the logisticsindustrylocated in Cairns.
The important parts:
- Immediate start.
- Full time positionavailable - rotating roster includes weekends and shift work - penalty rates will apply if working weekends & outside of normal hours (earliest possible start from 3.30am, latest shift finishing at 7.30pm or 11pm)
- $32.83 permanent hourly rate or Casual rate =$40.53
What you will be required to do:
- Driving and working airside and in the shed at Cairns Airport sorting freight, collecting freight from aircraft - (this is not baggage handling)
- Loading and unloading freighters as part of a team.
- Delivery driving animals and urgent freight in the Cairns and North Qld area as required.
To be successful in the role you must:
- Forklift ticket and driver’s licence
- Must undergo a drug and alcohol test and security background checks for an Aviation ASIC Pass
- Be a Permanent Resident as this is a Permanent position
Base hour rate offered with penalty rates and overtime rates available.
