Synergie Australia is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Hand to join our client at their Narrabeen branch.
It is a well-established supplier of roofing and building products, servicing the Sydney construction industry for over 30 years.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse and yard environment.
You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, operating a forklift, picking and packing orders, assisting customers with collections, delivery to site with a work vehicle and maintaining a safe and organised yard.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trucks and customer vehicles
- Picking and packing roofing and building material orders
- Receiving and checking incoming stock
- Stock replenishment and yard organisation
- Assisting customers collecting orders
- Delivering materials to site with work vehicle
- General warehouse and yard duties
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- To Be Successful You Will Have
- Current LF Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse, yard hand or storeperson experience
- Ability to perform manual handling and physical work
- Strong safety awareness
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Experience within building supplies, construction or manufacturing industries
