The role involves leading Commercial and Procurement workstreams, overseeing commercial and procurement teams, engaging with subcontractors, OEMs and key stakeholders. You'll be responsible for developing, negotiating and supporting contractual and commercial outcomes both upstream and downstream, playing a key role in supporting the operational success of the project.
Your everyday responsibilities include:
- Leading the procurement of all project packages across solar, BESS, civil, electrical and high-voltage infrastructure works.
- Managing, monitoring, and reporting on project budgets, forecasting, procurement activities, subcontractor and supplier commercial outcomes.
- Overseeing commercial and procurement teams.
- Managing and monitoring claims of all types, both upstream and downstream.
- Responsible for contractual management upstream and ensuring your teams diligently manage all downstream contract management.
Who are you? You should have demonstrated contractor side delivery experience on utility-scale renewables projects. Wider infrastructure experience may also be considered. Understanding and experience with electrical infrastructure, transmission or major infrastructure projects is essential. Strong understanding of EPC project delivery, commercial management, procurement and contract administration is required. Experience managing large teams, negotiating major subcontracts and supply agreements with international OEMs is necessary. A proven track record delivering projects safely, on programme and within budget is expected. Excellent financial acumen, financial management and reporting skills are also important.
