Position: Casual Teacher
Responsible to: The Principal
Reports to: Head Teacher - Administration
New South Wales Department of Education schools can only employ teachers who have received approval to teach from the NSW Department of Education. Approval to teach often takes 5 weeks (or more) but will mean that you will be approved to teach in any State school in NSW.
In addition, a number of current certifications are required of all NSW public school teachers:

- Anaphylaxis e-learning (APTSs)
- e-Emergency Care (APTSs)
- Child Protection Awareness Training
