Switch Solutions is one of Australia's largest accommodation consulting agencies, partnering with 155+ hotels, motels, resorts, serviced apartments and short-term rental operators across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. We run revenue management, marketing and distribution for our clients on a simple, monthly model. We're growing fast, and we want the content to match.
About the role
You'll create scroll-stopping content for two audiences: accommodation clients' guests, and hotel and STR owners. One day you're shooting a resort pool at golden hour for a client's Instagram. The next you're filming a quick-fire revenue tip with the team for Switch's LinkedIn. You'll own the process, the edit and the ideas, and you'll see your work drive results.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and shoot photo and video on site at client properties: rooms, amenities, food, local experiences
- Produce short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Stories) that makes people want to book
- Work with our marketing team and help develop content tied to monthly content calendars
- Track what works (reach, engagement, clicks) and double down on it
- Grow Switch's presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
- Film the team sharing revenue, marketing and STR insights in a way owners actually want to watch
- Create client case studies and results stories
- Manage and organise the content library so the team can find assets fast
- Stay on top of social trends, formats and platform changes
About you
- Experience creating social content, in-house or agency
- Strong portfolio of photo and short-form video
- Confident shooting and editing on your own: camera, phone, CapCut, Premiere, Lightroom or similar
- A good eye for spaces, light and lifestyle
- Comfortable on camera, and comfortable directing others on camera
- Driver's licence and happy to travel to client properties (including intrastate, interstate and internationally!)
- Experience in hospitality, tourism or travel content (nice to have)
- Canva and basic design skills (nice to have)
- Drone experience & licence (nice to have)
- Copywriting chops for captions, listings and emails (nice to have)
