We are currently recruiting for a Dispatch Coordinator to join our client, an established printing company based in Alexandria. We are looking for someone with previous dispatch or warehouse experience who is confident using computers, holds a forklift license and can work well in a busy environment. You will be working closely with the Dispatch Manager, assisting with the day-to-day running of dispatch. Ideally, we want someone who can learn all aspects of the role and confidently step in when the Dispatch Manager is away.
Location: Alexandria, Sydney
Salary: $85,000 - 90,000 + Super
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
Duties include:
- Assisting with daily dispatch operations
- Coordinating orders and outgoing deliveries
- Preparing dispatch paperwork and updating computer systems
- Liaising with warehouse staff
- Operating a forklift when required
- Assisting with general warehouse duties
- Supporting the Dispatch Manager with daily tasks
To be successful, you will need:
- Previous dispatch or warehouse experience
- Current forklift license (essential)
- Good computer skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A reliable attitude and strong work ethic
- willingness to learn and take on responsibility
