Experienced Aged Care Chef Manager required for Residential Aged Care & Hotel Services. This is a permanent full-time position, Monday - Friday, working as a Chef Manager in a modern and well-equipped 94 bed Residential Aged Care facility situated in Wellington Point on Brisbane.
Requirements:
- Aged Care cooking experience of a minimum of 3 years as a chef, including preparation of texture modified foods and alternative diets.
- Full knowledge and understanding of the IDDSI framework.
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen with a vast cooking knowledge.
- Positive attitude for working with the elderly.
- Current police check.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Physically fit and passionate about food.
The facility operates a dietitian-approved 4-week rotational menu which is changed seasonally. All food is prepared from scratch at our onsite kitchen. Great working hours, no split shifts. This position reports to the Head of Hotel Services onsite.
Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid work visa.
