Help Build Superfluoro's Internal Installation Capability
Superfluoro is a design-led architectural joinery business specialising in high-quality residential and commercial interiors.
We are building a more integrated approach to design, manufacturing and installation, with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, precision and reliable project delivery.
As part of our continued growth, we are establishing an internal installation capability and are looking for an experienced Lead Architectural Joinery Installer to help build and develop this function.
This is an opportunity for someone who takes pride in exceptional workmanship, enjoys solving practical challenges and wants to take ownership of projects from site measurement through to final installation and completion.
About the Role
This is a senior, hands-on position combining high-end architectural joinery installation with site measurement, project completion and practical problem-solving.
You will work closely with our design, detailing, project management and manufacturing teams to ensure joinery is accurately measured, properly installed and completed to a high standard.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to improved installation methods, quality standards and the development of Superfluoro's internal installation capability.
Key responsibilities
Architectural Joinery Installation
Install premium architectural joinery, including kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, studies, wall panelling and integrated cabinetry.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Plan installation sequences and undertake accurate setting out.
Deliver high-quality installations with excellent attention to alignment, finish and detail.
Site Measurement and Verification
Undertake site measurements and verify critical dimensions.
Assess site conditions, tolerances, access and installation requirements.
Identify discrepancies between drawings and physical conditions.
Provide accurate measurements, photographs and information to support detailing and manufacturing.
Completion and Problem-Solving
Take ownership of allocated installation works through to completion.
Undertake adjustments, finishing, defect rectification and return works.
Diagnose and resolve practical installation challenges.
Support timely completion of outstanding project items.
Quality and Continuous Improvement
Work closely with project managers, detailers and manufacturing partners.
Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing and installation outcomes.
Provide practical feedback on recurring site issues.
Help establish Superfluoro's internal installation standards and processes.
About You
We are looking for an experienced installer who combines excellent technical capability with reliability, judgement and professional communication.
You will ideally have:
Extensive experience installing high-end architectural joinery or cabinetry.
Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of joinery construction, materials, hardware and installation methods.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Accurate site measurement and setting-out skills.
Strong practical problem-solving capability.
Confidence working independently and taking responsibility for outcomes.
Professional communication skills when dealing with builders, clients and other trades.
A current driver's licence and commitment to safe working practices.
Experience undertaking site surveys for architectural joinery manufacturing will be highly regarded.
A cabinetmaking or carpentry trade background is desirable, although demonstrated installation capability is our primary consideration.
What We Offer
$100,000 to $130,000 + super, depending on experience and capability.
