Are you an ambitious, results-driven sales professional with a passion for media? Coastal Broadcasters are on the lookout for a high-performing Account Manager to join our sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic media environment.
Your primary area will be Cairns, Mareeba and the Atherton Tablelands, where you will service the market, represent Coastal Broadcasters brands and offer exceptional advertising reach across our collective radio stations.
About the role
As an Account Manager at Coastal Broadcasters, you will be responsible for maintaining an existing portfolio whilst building a client base across the region of Cairns, Mareeba and the Atherton Tablelands. You will service the market, represent Coastal Broadcasters brands and offer exceptional advertising reach across our radio stations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll work from the Mareeba sales office though a Cairns base may be considered for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Maintain consistent high-level of weekly sales activity
- Develop relationships with new and existing clients
- Service Agency partners, represent the Coastal Broadcasters offering with view to increase share and be included in radio media buys where applicable
- Present tailored advertising solutions to clients, ensuring they meet their marketing objectives
- Achieve and exceed sales targets
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing clients with regular updates and recommendations
About you
- Previous experience in sales, ideally within media, advertising, or radio (but open to talent from other sectors as well)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and close deals
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven by success
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
