About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our team at our
Bomaderry Branch .
This hands‑on role is responsible for the operation of the CO2 Plants, undertaking QA checks, loading transport containers and assisting with maintenance tasks.
As a plant operator, you will play a key role in ensuring our operations run safely and smoothly, while embodying our ‘Yes We Can’ ethos and commitment to safety: Think SAFE, Work SAFE, Live SAFE .
Duties
- Operating CO2Plants and fault finding
- Carrying out daily quality and operational checks of the Bomaderry CO2 Plant
- Assisting with basic maintenance tasks when required
- Loading CO2 tankers and vessels
- Assist in ensuring that all spare parts are stored, catalogued and that spare parts are replenished as soon as they are used
- Assist in ordering and re-ordering of parts/spare parts for maintenance, installations or breakdowns
- Monitor equipment performance and be involved in plant efficiency programmes

Skills & experience
- Forklift licence is required
- Experience in operating a process plant.
- A technical orientation is advantageous involving a theoretical understanding of gas production and gas processes
- Previous experience in a manufacturing plant and maintenance aptitude
- Have the capacity to take strong, decisive action in response to business performance issues prioritising safety.
- Must have the drive to achieve and the ability to persuade and influence others
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
- The successful candidate will be required to attend a pre-employment medical examination.
