As our Floor Manager, you'll take the lead during service and help coordinate our bar, floor and kitchen teams.
You'll be hands-on — serving customers, supporting staff, solving problems as they arise and making sure the venue is running smoothly from open through to close.
Key responsibilities
- Leading and coordinating the floor and bar team during service
- Creating a friendly, welcoming experience for every guest
- Allocating staff and managing breaks during shifts
- Supporting and training new team members
- Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness and service
- Managing bookings, table flow and larger groups
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures
- Cash handling and end-of-shift procedures
- Monitoring stock levels and communicating ordering requirements Working closely with the kitchen and brewery teams
About you
- Has previous hospitality experience, ideally in a supervisory or management role
- Is confident leading a team while still being happy to jump behind the bar or clear a table
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Can stay organised and calm during busy service periods
- Takes pride in creating a great atmosphere for customers and staff
- Is reliable, approachable and proactive
- Has a current Victorian RSA
- Is available to work evenings and weekends
