Job Description
We're looking for a Village Cleaner to join the team at our Chirnside Park village on a part time basis. More than keeping our village clean and tidy, you'll help create a welcoming place our residents are proud to call home. You'll enjoy working independently, take pride in doing a great job and bring a friendly smile to the residents you meet throughout your day.
You Day-to-day Will Include
- Cleaning village homes, communal areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and other shared spaces
- Performing general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and emptying rubbish bins.
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained
- Following a scheduled cleaning plan to ensure all areas meet required standards.
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
This is a part-time role working two days per week, from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Enjoy the flexibility to choose the two days that suit you best, between Monday and Friday.

What's most important is that you're someone who takes pride in doing a great job and enjoys making a positive difference to our residents' day. You'll enjoy getting to know the people around you and being part of a village community where your work is genuinely valued.

- Naturally responsible, dependable, and highly observant, with great attention to detail
- Able to build rapport and trust with residents
- A genuine interest in working with older people and creating a warm, respectful environment for residents
