At Summerset, from the moment we start developing a village, to when our residents call it home, it’s the passion and dedication of our people that brings our villages to life. We are one team united by being part of something bigger – to bring the best of life to our residents.

At Summerset, we’re passionate about creating vibrant communities where our residents can truly thrive. As our Lifestyle Coordinator at Summerset Cranbourne North, you’ll play a key role in shaping a welcoming, connected and engaging village environment—where lifestyle, wellbeing and meaningful experiences sit at the heart of everyday life.

Working closely with the Lifestyle Assistant and the wider village team, you’ll plan, coordinate and deliver meaningful activities that help residents stay connected, involved and part of village life. You’ll build strong relationships with residents and their families, taking the time to understand what matters to each person and creating experiences that bring enjoyment and purpose to their day.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate and deliver a varied lifestyle and activities program tailored to residents’ interests and preferences.
  • Lead and take part in activities, resident functions and planned outings.
  • Support residents to feel connected to the wider village community.
  • Communicate regularly with residents, families and supporters, including through newsletters and other updates.
  • Maintain accurate resident assessments, participation records and lifestyle-related care plan documentation.
  • Ensure activities meet aged care standards, safety requirements and organisational policies.
  • Contribute to activity planning, budgets and a positive, welcoming village culture.

Hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.

You’re a warm, creative and organised person who enjoys bringing people together and creating experiences that are meaningful to them. You communicate with ease, can inspire participation and have a genuine interest in supporting and connecting with our residents.

You’ll also bring:

  • A positive, can-do approach and genuine interest in supporting older people.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to encourage enthusiasm and participation.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good written communication skills and confidence using Microsoft Office programmes.
  • The ability to respond calmly and appropriately to residents’ changing needs or challenging situations.
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification (or willingness to obtain).

Summerset's known for its excellent benefits and strong sense of values around care, teamwork and drive for excellence. With some of the best benefits in the sector, some of these include:

  • Be part of a brand-new, purpose-built village and help set the standard for aged care in Australia.
  • Ongoing professional development and real growth opportunities as we expand across Victoria.
  • Supportive, inclusive team culture where everyone’s uniqueness and diversity can shine.
  • Employee benefits including birthday leave, incentive schemes, and more.
