Our client is a broker centric specialist underwriting agency seeking a Senior Risk and Compliance Officer to join their Legal Risk and Compliance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong General Insurance background who enjoys working closely with the business and senior stakeholders, rather than simply ticking compliance boxes.
About the Role
- Risk and compliance frameworks and processes
- Risk assessments, control testing and compliance reviews
- Incident, issue and complaints management
- Compliance reporting, training and continuous improvement
- Working closely with senior stakeholders and the Risk and Compliance Committee
About You
- 5+ years’ Risk and Compliance experience within General Insurance
- Strong understanding of insurance and regulatory requirements
- Practical experience with risk and control frameworks
- Confident stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercial, proactive and hands-on approach
- MGA / Underwriting Agency experience highly regarded
