Stug specialises in the precision machining of engineering plastics and metals and is currently sourcing a Trade Assistant and Despatch Officer to join our successful team. The core purpose of the role is to assist tradespeople with labour, tools, and maintenance, while simultaneously managing stock movement, booking freight, and handling order dispatch.
Hours: Full-time or Part-time. We are negotiable on hours and days.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Support qualified tradespeople.
- Provide general labour, prepare job sites, and handle equipment maintenance.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, cleaning gear, and machinery.
- Maintain clean, safe work zones that comply strictly with Work Health and Safety (WHS) rules.
- Order fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments according to consignment notes and sales orders.
- Book freight carriers, manage manifests, and verify shipping documentation.
- Unload and load deliveries while actively monitoring warehouse stock levels.
