About the Role
- As a
- Heavy Vehicle
- Driver Trainer at SDS Training, you will deliver high-quality driver training in the
Transport sector.
The role involves training candidates during the week, with occasional weekend training sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver driver training to students in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
- Assess students' driving skills, providing constructive feedback to ensure the highest quality training and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Provide hands‑on training in heavy vehicle operations, ensuring that students are prepared for real‑world challenges in the transport industry.
Skills & Experience Required
- HRO, HC or MC unrestricted driver’s license (essential).
- Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driving Instruction (Specialisation B – Heavy Vehicle) (essential).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience driving in the transport industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver clear and engaging training sessions.
- A strong focus on safety, compliance, and industry best practices.
