The predicted salary is between 24.3 - 29.7 $ per hour.
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Delivery Driver based out of our Fyshwick site. This position involves working as part of our collaborative team - reporting to the ACT Branch Manager. As a Delivery Driver you will be a member of our logistics team and be required to assist with packaging, loading and delivery of products to our trade and retail customer base.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in partnership with the loading team to locate finished goods and assist with placement onto delivery vehicles
- Secure load and prepare manifest
- Deliver and unload goods at customer premises as required
- Scan and update records and manifests
- Maintain vehicle and driver logs
- General housekeeping activities
- Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
ABOUT YOU
- A passion to deliver outstanding customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers' needs
- Enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
- Enjoys working autonomously
- CV license or crane truck experience highly advantageous
- MC or HC license essential
- Forklift ticket whilst preferred is not essential
- Dogging certificate (preferred)
