Strata Title Lawyers is looking for an experienced Construction Lawyer with approximately 5+ years PQE to join our growing Sydney team. You will work on high quality construction matters with genuine autonomy, direct client contact and the opportunity to work closely with our CEO and senior team.

The Role
You will advise and represent clients across a varied and interesting construction law practice, including:
- Acting for owners corporations against builders, developers, engineers, architects and professional indemnity insurers in building defect and rectification claims
- Attending court hearings, mediations and other alternative dispute resolution conferences
- Advising clients on risk mitigation and practical dispute-resolution strategies
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction contracts and related project documentation
- Advising on contract administration, variations, extensions of time, payment claims and construction claims
- Advising on regulatory compliance, risk allocation and project issues
- Providing clear, commercially focused advice while maintaining a high standard of client service
- Managing matters independently, including priorities, deadlines and client communication
About You
You are an Australian qualified lawyer with approximately 5+ years PQE and solid construction law experience. You are commercially minded, confident managing matters independently and comfortable dealing directly with clients. Experience in building defects, construction litigation, contracts, adjudications and dispute resolution will be highly regarded.
