The Opportunity
In this role, you will:
- Produce accurate electrical drawings and 3D Revit models across a range of projects.
- Prepare detailed electrical documentation from concept stage to final completion plans.
- Work closely with electrical engineers, designers and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Coordinate electrical models with other engineering disciplines.
- Maintain Revit models, drafting standards and documentation.
- Incorporate design changes, mark-ups and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay up to date with Revit developments and relevant Australian standards.
- Ensure the accuracy of drawings while meeting project deadlines and client expectations.
About you:
- 3 – 5 years' drafting experience, preferably within a consulting engineering environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit, with experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Dynamo experience is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of relevant Building Services Construction Industry Standards.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and self-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate documentation.
- Ability to interpret engineering designs, mark-ups, specifications and project requirements.
