The Senior Exectutive/BDM role is responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining and growing existing customer accounts, and promoting the Company's transport, warehousing, and logistics services. The role is focused on driving revenue growth, building long-term customer relationships, and supporting the operational and commercial objectives of the business through professional sales and account management practices.
Key responsibilities
Identify and secure new business opportunities
Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers
Conduct cold calling, customer visits, and networking activities
Promote the Company's transport and logistics services to potential clients
Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and service solutions
Achieve sales growth targets and KPIs
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Manage existing customer accounts and identify growth opportunities
Maintain regular communication with customers regarding service performance and requirements
Address customer concerns and coordinate resolutions with operations teams
About you
Previous experience in sales or business development in the transport and logistics business
Existing customer networks or industry contacts
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
Strong organisational and time management skills
Computer literacy including Microsoft Office
