We offer the opportunity to work on complex commercial litigation matters where you will have the opportunity to appear in the Local Court to Supreme and Federal Court or Tribunals yourself as well as brief Barristers and work with them directly.
The Role
We require someone with 3+ years commercial litigation and front end commercial experience and the initiative and drive to want to learn and excel from the role.
- General commercial and large complex litigation and dispute resolution
- Litigation over all jurisdictions including Local, District and Supreme Court, Federal Courts and Tribunals
- Commercial and insolvency law
- Debt recovery
It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have exposure to these areas, and be comfortable with being involved in drafting pleadings/affidavits and other Court material and settlement/mediation conferences. You will have direct client contact and direct court work including briefing Counsel. Given the nature of the work performed in the firm, you will also be exposed to other areas of law to expand your experience.
