Stevenson Fabrication are seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join their team on a Full-Time permanent basis in Numurkah, Victoria. In this varied role, you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of high-quality products, supporting the company's ongoing growth and customer satisfaction.
What you'll be doing:
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks to a high standard, ensuring the integrity and quality of the final products.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to guide your work.
- Operate a range of welding equipment and machinery as required.
- Collaborate with other team members ensuring completion of projects on time and on budget.
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the continuous enhancement of operations.
What we're looking for:
- Self-motivated, able to work with limited supervision.
- Relevant trade qualification Welder Fabricator or Fitter.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and find solutions.
- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform all inherent physical requirements for welders as detailed within the PD. (PD available on request).
