Our client is a leading food manufacturing and processing operation seeking a Rendering Plant Operator to join their team in Veradilla. Working within a 24-hour production environment, you will play a key role in processing by-products into tallow while ensuring quality, safety and production targets are met.

Shift Times Rotating Roster Across
- 5:30am - 1:00pm
- 1:30pm - 9:30pm
- 9:30pm - 5:30am
Weekend work and additional shifts may be required depending on production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor rendering plant equipment including grinders, cookers, decanters, separators, presses and dryers
- Receive, load and process raw materials through the rendering operation
- Monitor cooking temperatures, production flow and operating parameters
- Complete production, quality and temperature records accurately
- Inspect finished tallow and identify any quality issues
- Follow HACCP, food safety and traceability requirements
- Perform cleaning, sanitation and basic operational maintenance tasks
- Report equipment faults and production issues promptly
- Safely work around steam, hot products and moving machinery
- Load out finished product and maintain stock levels as required
About You
- Previous experience in manufacturing, food processing, rendering, production or industrial operations
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
- Comfortable working in hot, humid and physically demanding environments
- Ability to work rotating day, afternoon and night shifts
- Commitment to workplace safety and food quality standards
- Forklift licence highly regarded but not essential
