The Opportunity
Stellar Recruitment is partnering with a leading mining services provider to recruit an experienced Regional Field Trainer to support operations across Western Australia.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in Drill & Blast, Shotfiring or Mobile Processing Unit (MPU) operations who is passionate about training, mentoring and developing operational teams.
Working across multiple WA mine sites, you'll play a key role in building workforce capability, maintaining compliance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver operational training, coaching and competency assessments across WA mine sites.
- Identify skills gaps and work with site leadership to implement training and development plans.
- Conduct training audits and ensure compliance with company, site and legislative requirements.
- Maintain training records, competency matrices and Learning Management Systems.
- Support employee onboarding, new site establishments and workforce development initiatives.
- Review and improve training materials, procedures and work instructions.
- Provide ongoing mentoring and technical support to operational crews.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous mining experience, preferably within Drill & Blast, Shotfiring or MPU operations.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116, TAE40122 or equivalent).
- Experience delivering operational training and conducting competency assessments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with operational crews and site leadership.
- Experience using training management systems and maintaining compliance records.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
- Current HR Driver's Licence and willingness to travel regularly across WA operations.
Highly Regarded:
- Shotfiring qualifications or operational blasting experience.
- Previous experience training MPU Operators.
- Experience using Myosh or similar systems.
