Stella Maris College, Manly is seeking a full-time English Teacher for a 12-month maternity leave contract commencing Term 1, 2027, teaching across Stages 4, 5, and 6.
Stella Maris College, Manly, is a Catholic secondary school for girls in Years 7 to 12, inspired by the Good Samaritan Benedictine tradition. The role of English Teacher is multifaceted based on being an excellent classroom practitioner with an enthusiasm for and sound knowledge of the subject area, forming and maintaining good relationships with colleagues, students and parents, and keeping abreast with current and best teaching and learning practice.
The English Teacher is responsible and accountable to the College Principal.
The teacher will be responsible for delivering the NESA curriculum in stage 4, 5 and 6.
Remuneration for the position will be commensurate with the applicant’s level of qualification and demonstration of teaching expertise.
