Steelcraft Framing is a family-owned steel frame and truss manufacturer in Larapinta. We've grown fast over the past three years and we're on track to double again, which means we need more good people on the factory floor.
We're hiring full-time Assembly Workers for our frame and truss lines on day shift.
Your hours
Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:26pm. The 5:00am start is a fixed condition of this role and forms part of your ordinary hours. Early start, early finish. Afternoons are yours and weekends are always off.
What you’ll be doing
Assembling steel wall frames and trusses to drawings and specifications
Using hand and power tools safely
Measuring and checking your work so every frame leaves right the first time
Working with your team to hit daily production targets
Keeping your area clean, organised and safe
What you’ll get
Full-time permanent employment, $29.87 to $31.42 per hour plus super, depending on experience
Full on-the-job training, including how to read frame and truss drawings
A clear pathway to Machine Operator, Team Leader and supervisory roles
Managers who are on the floor, know your name and back your development

What we need from you
Reliable. You turn up on time, every shift.
Hard working. You keep going without someone watching.
Careful. Steel framing tolerances are tight and you take pride in getting it right.
Safe. You follow procedures because you understand why they matter.
Physically fit. It's a standing active job in a factory that gets warm in summer.
Own transport. A 5:00am start means public transport won't work. The site has easy access off the Logan Motorway.
Factory, construction, trade or warehouse experience is a bonus, but attitude matters more. If you've worked hard in a physical job before, we'll teach you the rest.
