Stanley & Co is looking for a passionate, qualified Colourist / Hair Stylist to join our team in Redfern. This is initially a part-time role with the aim to become full time. You’ll deliver high-quality cutting, colouring, styling and treatments, create a welcoming experience for every client, and help grow the salon by showcasing your work online.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide expert cutting, colouring, styling and treatments so every client leaves feeling their best.
- Run personalised consultations, recommending styles and products to suit each client's hair and lifestyle.
- Educate clients on at-home hair care and recommend premium products, including O&M and Mr Smith.
- Capture and share your work on the salon's social media.
- Keep a clean, organised workspace and support day-to-day salon operations, including bookings and stock.
- Work towards targets for service revenue, retail sales and social media content.
About you:
- Certificate III or IV in Hairdressing (or equivalent industry experience).
- Minimum two years of salon experience.
- Strong cutting, colouring and styling skills with an artistic eye for detail.
- Confident in consultations, with excellent communication skills and a genuine love of working with people.
- Experience with curly and textured hair, or advanced colour certifications, is a bonus.
- Someone who cares about their craft, their clients and the experience they create.
