We've opened a brand-new site in Hemmant and we're looking for a qualified butcher to work in our state of the art production room. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products, and you’ll be a part of the process as we supply the best cuts and value-add products to our domestic customers.
What you'll be doing
- Cutting, trimming, slicing, boning, mincing - anything you can think of that relates to general butchery!
- Weighing, scaling, labelling, cryovacing and packing meat products
- Stacking packed items for distribution
- Cleaning of the production room as required
- Providing guidance, advice and knowledge to members who require it
What you'll bring
- Cert III in Meat Processing (Food Services) or (Retail Butcher)
- Sound knowledge of meat product and multi-species proteins
- Skills, confidence and safety with knife use and butchering machinery
- Team focused
- Comfort working in a cold environment, and availability for early starts
