Stafflink Workforce Management are a Queensland based specialist in providing temporary & permanent recruitment services across a broad range of blue and white collar industries. We are currently seeking to employ a Yard Hand for a steel yard located in Wacol, Qld.
About the role:
You will be working in a team to source & prepare materials for site. Duties include:
- Picking, stripping & painting tasks
- Warehousing tasks
- Loading & unloading
- General housekeeping duties
Day shift: 6am starts, Monday to Friday.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following selection criteria:
- Previous experience working in a factory/production environment
- Must be reliable and take pride in work
- Be physically fit and capable to complete manual tasks – these roles will involve manual lifting, bending, squatting and kneeling
- Have full PPE including steel capped boots, Hi Vis shirts and long pants
- Available for an immediate start
- Must be able to commit to working full time hours, Monday to Friday with flexibility for overtime
