At St Mary Multicultural Early Learning Centre, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Toddler Room Leader to join our dedicated team in Rhodes 2138. As a full-time Toddler Room Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care for the children in your care.
What you'll be doing:
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Supervise and guide a team of educators to provide a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment for toddlers.
- Observe and document children's learning and development, and use this information to inform curriculum planning.
- Build strong relationships with families, and work collaboratively to support each child's individual needs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to continually improve your practice.
What we're looking for:
- Certificate III or Diploma.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with toddlers in an early childhood setting (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of educators.
- Strong understanding of child development and the ability to plan and implement engaging educational programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to building positive relationships with families.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications.
- Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
