Position Overview
We are seeking Christian staff to join our property maintenance team in providing an excellent grounds keeping service around the school. This part time position (16 hours a fortnight) is expected to start January 2025.
Duties include:
- Minor landscaping work
- Maintaining clean and tidy school grounds
- Routine trade and non-trade maintenance and repairs
- Providing feedback into planning, preparing and development of school grounds
- Inventory management for grounds supplies and materials
- Assist with setting up significant school events
- Compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Eligible to work in Australia
- Valid Working with Children Check
- An authentic Christian who lives out the faith and attends church regularly
- A genuine friendly person with good interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliability and punctuality to ensure timely service
- Experience in groundskeeping in a school environment is desirable
