The predicted salary is between 24.3 - 29.7 $ per hour.
St Andrews is seeking a reliable and hands-on General Services Officer to join our aged care team across our Ballina and Byron Bay facilities in a casual capacity. This role is responsible for cleaning and laundry duties, helping us maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties across designated areas in line with infection control and hygiene standards.
- Operate commercial laundry equipment and manage resident and facility laundry, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and returning residents' personal items to their rooms.
- Maintain cleaning and laundry supplies and report any equipment faults.
- Follow WHS procedures at all times.
- Support a safe and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
About you:
- Previous cleaning and/or laundry experience (aged care or commercial setting preferred but not essential).
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check (at the organisation's expense).
- Willing to undergo an Optimum Allied Health Pre-Placement Health Assessment (at the organisation's expense).
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
- Own transport required.
- Multi-site flexibility required to work across all St Andrews sites, including Ballina and Byron Bay sites.
- Must already hold full, unrestricted working rights in Australia.
