Srsly Creators Pty Ltd is a social media agency on the Gold Coast working with creators who make real content, achieving about ten billion views across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. We are looking for an experienced social media manager to work in-house, take ownership of parts of the operation, and join us on occasional trips here and overseas.
Your role includes:
- The posting schedule and balance across all accounts
- The pipeline from an idea to something published, including approving edits
- Managing comments and community across the brands
- Analysing numbers and making changes based on them
We want someone who takes initiative and runs these aspects rather than just completing tasks. You would help build the plan and have the authority to hold people accountable, including us. Over time, there may be opportunities for a real stake in the business.
Day to day, you would work directly with us and our wider social team. This role is not about being a content creator; instead, you would be one of the architects of our content. You would help run shoot days, hold the camera when needed, and edit some videos yourself. Good editing skills are essential, and familiarity with CapCut is a plus.
The kind of content we create is funny, adventurous, silly, and quite random. We seek someone genuinely interested in this type of content rather than polished lifestyle or beauty work. While we need someone who can be less rough around the edges, if you're afraid to get your hair wet, it might not be a good fit!
Knowing how to use AI is important, but we are not looking for someone who relies solely on tools like ChatGPT for captions. What matters is keeping up with technology, knowing how to prompt efficiently to automate tasks, and being willing to learn from us.
The practical details include:
- Location: Gold Coast, five days a week (not remote or hybrid)
- Flexible schedule that moves with shoots, with occasional WFH days
- Travel for work a few times a year, both locally and overseas
- Permanent and full-time from day one
- At least three years of experience running accounts
- A valid licence and a car for location shoots
