Key Responsibilities
- Operating advanced rigs includingSandvik Panterra DP1500i,
- Maintaining clean and safe drill patterns
- Performing pre-start checks and basic maintenance
- Adjusting techniques to suit ground conditions
- Collaborating with supervisors to meet production targets
- Following safety procedures and contributing to a strong team culture
The successful applicant will ideally have
- Local to Townsville or surrounding areas
- Mine site experience
- Valid C Class Driver's Licence
- Clean national police clearance
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
Bonus Points for:
- HR Licence
- RC Grade Control drilling experience
- Cert III in Drilling Operations
- Queensland Explosives Security Clearance (QESC)
