With new projects and continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial, contractual, financial, and procurement functions across major infrastructure and construction projects.
Key responsibilities
- Lead commercial strategy and contract administration activities across major projects
- Ensure all contractual obligations, notices, claims, variations, and correspondence are managed effectively
- Drive project profitability through robust forecasting, cost control, and financial management
- Manage project budgets, cash flow, cost-to-complete forecasts, and margin reporting
- Identify commercial opportunities and risks and provide timely recommendations to support decision-making
- Negotiate commercial agreements and subcontract packages
- Ensure best-practice procurement processes, supplier due diligence, and compliance with governance requirements
- Develop and mentor commercial team members
- Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Support project leadership with strategic commercial advice and reporting
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business, or similar
- Extensive commercial management experience on major projects
- Strong contract administration and cost management expertise
- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of commercial risk management and project controls
- Proven experience leading commercial teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Advanced Excel and project financial reporting capability
