Spicers is a leading national supplier of materials and solutions to Australia’s print, design, signage, packaging and advertising industries, with offices and warehouses across the country. Our diverse portfolio includes fine papers, visual communication materials, synthetics, self-adhesive products, packaging grades and specialist substrates.
We are seeking a driven sales executive to grow sales and product specifications across the NSW architecture and interior design market, with a particular focus on the 3M™ architectural finishes and glass finishes ranges. You will build relationships with architects, interior designers, shopfitters and other industry partners, while managing an established customer portfolio and creating new business opportunities. You will also increase awareness of Spicers and our solutions throughout the NSW market.
This autonomous position suits an influential, commercially focused and goal-oriented sales professional who is comfortable managing a metropolitan territory. You will share your product and industry expertise with the broader sales team and support opportunities across related markets and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed agreed sales targets
- Develop product sales and specifications across the NSW architecture and design market
- Increase awareness of Spicers and our product portfolio among key industry audiences
- Manage and grow an established customer base
- Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities
- Build a long-term pipeline of current and future architecture and design projects, including specification-led and transactional sales
- Maintain productive relationships with 3M™ licensed installers and representatives to ensure customer needs are met
- Collaborate with External Sales, Internal Sales, Warehouse and Supply teams to share leads, project information and market intelligence
About You
- Experience in, or strong knowledge of, the architecture and interior design industry; familiarity with decorative or technical finishes is highly regarded
- Demonstrated success selling to architects, interior designers, shopfitters or related specification audiences
- A strong track record in brand or product development
- Proven ability to grow a sales territory and secure new business
- Strong planning, prioritisation and negotiation skills
- Confident communication and relationship-building skills
- A self-motivated approach and a drive to deliver sales results
