Sphere Solutions are working with a well-established and growing regional contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based in Plymouth.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of commercial refurbishment projects, primarily across Plymouth with occasional projects extending from Exeter to Land's End. Project values range from £100k to £6m, offering plenty of variety and responsibility.
The Role
- Manage the commercial and financial aspects of multiple refurbishment projects.
- Prepare cost plans, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
- Monitor project costs, forecasts, and cash flow.
- Work closely with site and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
About You
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
- Commercial refurbishment experience is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cost management and contract administration.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Full UK driving licence.
