The Role
We are seeking a part-time (70 Hours a fortnight) Maintenance Officer to join our Residential Aged Care facility in Marsfield.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed to support high-quality service delivery. This includes the upkeep and maintenance of the property, land-based assets, plant, and equipment.
- You will be responsible in providingbasicgeneral maintenance repairs (electrical &plumbing, carpentry and building)
- You will alsobe providinggardening maintenance tasks (sweeping, hosing, keeping the outside of buildings clean and tidy, mowing lawns, hedging and general garden maintenance)
- Undertake and oversee Preventative Maintenance relating to buildings, property and assets in accordance with the Planned Preventative Maintenance Calendar specific to each location.
- Undertake and oversee Reactive Maintenance relating to buildings, property and assets as directed across the designated area of responsibility
- Monitor and action all Maintenance works to ensure regulatory compliance across the designated area of responsibility.
- To Comply with and contribute to Work Health and Safety policies and procedures.
