Our Spiritual Care Coordinator plays a vital role in offering compassionate, person-centred care. This is a dynamic position to work across multiple SCC locations, with the flexibility to work part-time through to full-time hours. Every day brings variety and purpose, whether providing one-on-one support, coordinating memorials and reflections, or mentoring volunteers who contribute to resident and client wellbeing.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing tailored emotional and spiritual support
- Supporting individuals through grief, illness, and end-of-life experiences
- Helping people connect with what gives them meaning, purpose, and comfort
- Planning and coordinating memorial services, reflections, and visits from community groups
- Sharing wellbeing insights through care planning, meetings, and documentation
- Recruiting, mentoring, and supporting volunteers who contribute to resident and client wellbeing
