South West Rocks Dental is seeking an experienced, people-focused Lead Receptionist to lead our front-of-house team and support our clinical team. This role suits someone with strong communication skills and leadership experience, who takes pride in delivering an excellent patient experience. Our front desk sets the standard for how patients experience our practice.
As Lead Receptionist, you will:
- Lead, train and support the front-of-house team
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, accounts and recall systems
- Be the first point of contact for patients, in person and by phone
- Provide chairside dental assistance and sterilisation support as required
- Work with the practice owners, Dr David and Juanita Keir, and our Leadership Team to maintain and improve practice systems
About you:
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience is highly regarded
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A genuine commitment to patient care and customer service
- Willingness to learn and perform dental assisting duties (training provided)
- Dental reception or dental assisting experience is highly regarded but not essential
