About This Role
Your opportunity: The Senior Physiotherapist works within the Primary and Community Care division at Charleville Hospital. Other hospitals and community clinics are located in small towns within the SWHHS, therefore an outreach service is provided to deliver in-person services to these communities.
You will work within the multidisciplinary team to provide high level, responsive, and flexible physiotherapy clinical services in acute, sub-acute, aged care, community, and outreach facility settings with only occasional clinical/professional supervision. The position provides clinical leadership within the team and operates with a high level of independence with clinical conditions and services of complex and varied nature.
The very nature of what we do and who we are is the real opportunity. Providing health care in the bush is full of challenges; however, it remains the most rewarding of human experiences.
Escape the city crowds and discover the red dirt wonderland where the skies are as big as the characters you will meet. Charleville is the largest town in South West Queensland, situated on the banks of the Warrego River in the heart of Mulga Country. Charleville is a reminder that the good things in life shouldn't be hurried; it's a chance to embrace the simple things in life and a celebration of community spirit with the annual Charleville Cup Races the highlight of summer.
