SAPMEA | Wayville, Adelaide SA | Part-time or Full-time | Flexible Working

Love exploring South Australia? Passionate about rural health and making a difference?

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Project Manager to join our small, dedicated team delivering high-quality medical education across metropolitan, rural and remote South Australia.

This is more than a desk-based project management role. While much of your time will be spent planning, developing and coordinating education programs, you'll also be out on the road, travelling to rural and remote communities across South Australia to support the delivery of education activities.

If you enjoy variety, love travelling and exploring South Australia, and are passionate about rural healthcare and communities, this could be the role for you.

We are open to part-time or full-time arrangements for the right candidate.

About the role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will manage a diverse portfolio of medical education projects, taking responsibility for their planning, development, delivery and evaluation.

You’ll work closely with healthcare professionals, clinical educators and stakeholders to ensure education activities are relevant, engaging and delivered to a high standard.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong project management skills, initiative, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Regular travel to rural and remote South Australia is an essential requirement of this position. This includes overnight stays and evening activities. Travel requirements will vary according to the education delivery schedule, and applicants must be willing and able to meet these commitments.

About you

You are a proactive, resourceful and highly organised professional who enjoys managing projects, working with people and seeing your efforts translate into meaningful outcomes.

To be successful, you will bring:

Demonstrated experience in developing and coordinating education activities and programs.

Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.

Confidence working independently, taking initiative and solving problems.

Strong communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.

A genuine willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout South Australia.

Highly regarded, but not essential:

Experience with professional college accreditation and continuing professional development requirements.

Formal qualifications in training and education, adult learning or a related discipline.

Experience working in healthcare, medical education or the not-for-profit sector.

Above all, we're looking for someone who is adaptable, enjoys being part of a collaborative team, takes ownership of their work and is committed to delivering high-quality education.

Part-time or full-time: We are open to discussing employment arrangements that suit the successful candidate and SAPMEA's operational needs.

Flexible working: We support flexible working arrangements that balance individual needs with operational requirements.

Salary packaging: Access salary sacrifice benefits available through our not-for-profit status.
