Started your career in marketing, media or account management and ready for more responsibility, variety and room to contribute? Source Partnerships is looking for a Partnerships Executive with around one or two years’ relevant experience to join our growing team.

About Source

We’re a partnerships agency operating across Australia and New Zealand, connecting advertisers with customers through in-package advertising, product sampling, digital retail media, events and activations. Our retail partner network includes THE ICONIC, Booktopia, Mwave, digiDirect and Adore Beauty. We work with brands and agencies to develop campaigns that reach the right audiences and generate revenue for our retail partners.

You’ll join a small team at an early stage of Source’s growth, working closely with the Australian-based founder. We have established retail partnerships and live campaigns, with plenty still to build. You’ll contribute ideas, take ownership of work and see how commercial decisions are made. Alongside delivering campaigns and building relationships, you’ll help develop our processes and identify new opportunities. The startup environment means there won’t always be an established way of doing things. We’re looking for someone who enjoys finding solutions, trying ideas and helping shape how the business grows.

The role

  • You’ll work across the full partnership process: understanding a client’s marketing challenge, developing a recommendation, presenting it and bringing the campaign to life.
  • Campaign management
    • Manage assigned campaigns from brief and approval through artwork, production, logistics, delivery, reporting and invoicing.
    • Coordinate advertisers, retail partners and suppliers, keeping timelines, actions and campaign information up to date in our campaign management system.
    • Understand campaign budgets, costs and revenue, identifying issues early and keeping everyone informed.
    • Use campaign results and feedback to recommend improvements and future activity.
  • Client and partner relationships
    • Manage day-to-day communications with advertisers, agencies, retail partners and suppliers.
    • Build your understanding of each partner’s business, audience and priorities.
    • Prepare for and contribute to meetings, presentations and pitches, owning agreed actions and follow-ups.
    • Identify opportunities to grow relationships and develop further campaigns.
  • Ideas, strategy and growth
    • Develop partnership ideas in response to advertiser objectives, audiences, budgets and marketing challenges.
    • Use research, insights and partner knowledge to create persuasive proposals and presentations.
    • Help turn ideas into commercially viable campaigns for advertisers and retail partners.
    • Support new business through research, pitch preparation and agreed outreach.

About you

You’ll bring around one or two years’ experience in partnerships, marketing, media, advertising, account management or a related role. You don’t need experience in our specific channels. We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is organised, pays attention to detail and can keep several projects moving.
  • Writes clearly and communicates confidently with clients and partners.
  • Enjoys developing ideas and explaining how they address a client’s objectives.
  • Thinks beyond the immediate task, spotting opportunities and turning ideas into practical next steps.
  • Takes responsibility, follows through and uses sound judgement about when to act and when to ask.
  • Is curious about brands, consumer behaviour and the commercial side of marketing.
  • Enjoys both the creative work and the practical detail needed to deliver it.
  • Wants to help build a business and is comfortable taking initiative when there isn’t an established process.

Support and development

You’ll receive direct guidance from the founder, clear objectives and monthly performance and development check-ins. You’ll get practical feedback on campaigns, proposals and presentations, with opportunities to develop your role as your experience and the business grow.
