Sprocket 365 is the digital workplace platform for Microsoft 365, built by Sope, a Microsoft Partner in Melbourne. Two products sit under the brand:

  • Sprocket Studio gives Share Point everything it should ship with: a real knowledge hub, a people directory that works, compliance tracking, onboarding and 40+ web parts.

IT managers and Share Point admins buy it, and it sells through Microsoft App Source.

  • Sprocket Orbit is the wiki for IT teams and MSPs on Microsoft 365.

Runbooks, fixes and how-tos are quick to write and quick to find, and the AI the team already uses, whether that's Copilot, Claude or Chat GPT, can read and update them.

It installs from the Teams Store and App Source, so an IT manager can try it with their team in an afternoon, with no sales call.

Studio is the established product with paying customers. Orbit launched this year and is the growth story. You will work across both.

The role

You won't be inheriting a 40-page marketing plan.

You'll get two real Saa S products with paying customers around the world, existing campaign data, direct access to the people building them, and the freedom to work out what actually drives growth.

Six months to sharpen how we talk about Sprocket, then put that message in front of the right people.

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Saa S marketer who owns the work directly, rather than a marketing manager who mainly delegates.

You'll use AI agents and automation to carry the volume, and keep your own judgement for the messaging and the calls on what's working.

It starts with messaging.

Both products sell to IT, for different reasons.

Studio talks to IT managers and Share Point admins who want Share Point to do more, and want to know what it will cost them in support.

Orbit talks to the IT manager who is the person everyone rings when something breaks, and to the MSP looking after dozens of client tenants.

Their fixes are scattered across One Note, Teams chats and a few people's heads, and they're one resignation away from losing them.

What you'll do

Your biggest priorities are sharpening the messaging, running paid acquisition and improving EDM and trial nurture.

You'll also own the wider program across content, Reddit, You Tube, Linked In and marketplaces, but we don't expect every channel to move at once.

  • Your priorities
  • Brand messaging: build a messaging framework for both products.

Positioning, value props, proof points, key lines and a short tone guide.

For Orbit, that means a sharp story for IT managers and MSPs: the knowledge that stays when people leave.

  • Paid acquisition: run our paid campaigns end to end across Meta, Linked In and Reddit.

Targeting, copy, creative briefs, budgets and the read on what each test told us.

Meta is the proven channel today, with an existing ad concept library to work from.

For Orbit, Linked In means IT Managers, Heads of IT and MSP owners at 50 to 1,000 staff organisations.

  • EDMs and trial nurture: product updates, release notes and nurture sequences to our customer and trial lists, built and sent in Hub Spot.

For Orbit, that includes helping new trial teams get to their first useful runbook fast.

  • Also yours, as the priorities allow
  • Search and comparison content: articles and pages IT people actually search for, such as moving off One Note, comparing Orbit with Confluence or IT Glue, and keeping runbooks current with AI.
  • Reddit: genuine participation in the communities where IT people and MSPs talk shop. Helpful first, promotional rarely. You know how Reddit treats brands that get this wrong.
  • You

Tube: long, unscripted walkthroughs IT people trust, such as moving a One Note notebook into Orbit or connecting Claude to a team wiki.

Titles, descriptions, thumbnails and playlists that help people find them.

  • Marketplaces and reviews: keep our App Source and Teams Store listings sharp, and grow our G2 reviews. IT buyers check these before they trial anything.
  • Linked

In: our company page, plus content for the founders to post.

  • Build your stack: set up the AI workflows and automations that keep content, ads and reporting moving without you doing everything by hand.

Document them in Orbit so they outlast the contract.

  • Report back: a simple monthly view of what is working, against the measures below.
  • How we'll measure it
  • Orbit installs from the Teams Store and App Source, and trial teams that go on to pay
  • Cost per install or lead on each paid channel
  • G2 reviews
  • EDM open, click and unsubscribe rates
  • Follower and engagement growth on Linked In and You Tube, and referral traffic from Reddit

Installs, paying teams and leads come first. Reach and likes are useful context.

You'll inherit existing Studio customers, past campaign results and an established Meta program.

Orbit is earlier stage, so part of the first few months is setting acquisition benchmarks and finding the channels that repeat.

What we're looking for

  • Proven B2B Saa S marketing experience
  • AI-native marketing (vibe marketing, if that's what you call it).

You already use AI agents and automation day to day (Claude, Chat GPT, n8n, Make or similar) to research, write, create variants, launch tests and report back.

  • You can show a workflow you built and what it enabled you to ship
  • You've marketed to IT people, sysadmins or MSPs, and they didn't tune you out
  • Messaging and positioning work you can show: a framework, a repositioning, or a launch you shaped
  • A strong writer who can explain a technical product in plain English, without the buzzwords IT people roll their eyes at
  • Hands on in Meta Ads Manager and Linked In Campaign Manager. You have built campaigns and read the results back into the next test. Reddit Ads experience is a plus
  • Knows how to show up on Reddit without getting downvoted out of the thread
  • Confident building and sending campaigns in Hub Spot or a similar email platform
  • Self directed, organised, and able to get things done with light supervision
  • Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Share Point, Teams or the Microsoft partner ecosystem
  • You know the MSP world: tools like IT Glue, Hudu, or a PSA or RMM
  • Basic design and video editing skills (Canva, Cap Cut, Adobe) for thumbnails and simple edits. We have a contractor for more advanced video editing
  • Experience with marketplace listings: App Source, the Teams Store, G2 or an equivalent
  • Who you'll work with

You'll work alongside the product team who build Studio and Orbit.

They're your go-to for demos, screenshots, product knowledge and fact checks.

You'll have one main point of contact and a weekly marketing check-in.

  • How we'll support you
  • Access to Hub Spot, the ad accounts and our social channels from day one
  • Brand assets, the existing Meta ad concept library and past campaign results
  • A clear brief on who Orbit is for, the problems it solves for them, and the messages we're testing
  • Length: 6 months, with potential to extend
  • Arrangement: full-time independent contract, around 38 hours a week
  • Location: Australia or fully remote
  • Time overlap: most of your working day should overlap with Melbourne business hours (UTC+10/+11). A few hours either side is fine
