Are you stuck on $40 to $45 an hour with nowhere to go? Start at $50 an hour and work up to $60, running your own crew.
You do not need solar or battery accreditation. All you need is your electrical licence. If you are the right person, we put you through the courses at our cost.
Solana Energy Specialists is a Newcastle solar and battery installer based in Mayfield West, working across Newcastle, the Hunter and the Central Coast.
What you get
- $50 an hour to start, $55 once accredited, $60 once you are self-sufficient and leading an installation team.
- Accreditation at our cost: we pay for your solar design and battery courses and pay you for the hours you spend on them. Training courses, including some in Sydney. We ask for a fair 12 month commitment: if you leave within 12 months of starting, a portion of the course costs is repaid, reducing the longer you stay
- A work vehicle from day one (for work use)
- A paid trial, so you can see the job and the team first
- Support from experienced installers and management, and a clear path to running your own team
What you will do
- Once accredited, lead a crew: you as the qualified electrician, normally with a roofer and two apprentices
- Install solar and battery systems, keeping quality and safety high on every job
- Train and guide your apprentices, and look after the customer on site
What you bring
- A current NSW electrical licence. That is all the qualification you need
- Experience leading a team, or the readiness to step up to it
