Job Description
IES.au pty ltd REQUIREMENTS AND QUALITIES On-site measuring, drawing and ordering of sheet metal ductwork and project ; Installation and repair of sheet metal ductwork and work equipment support frames; Install sheet metal plinth surrounds and fabricated metal condensate trays Knowledge, understanding and the ability to read and work from mechanical/architectural drawings; Align, join, and seal fabricated sheet metal flashings to duct penetrations to maintain structural integrity and prevent weather infiltration A strong focus on quality to ensure standards are consistently met Conduct rigorous quality inspections throughout the sheet metal ductwork installation process to ensure all tolerances and standards are met. Proven ability to implement site safety systems and ensure compliance with the Project Safety Management Plan Maintain a clean, organised workspace and strictly adhere to all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) protocols Current white card and Elevating
Work Platform (EWP) licence may be required ABOUT YOU Hold a formal trade qualification (e.g., AQF Certificate III) in Sheet Metal Work, Fabrication, or equivalent, with3+ years of demonstrable industry experience. Highly skilled in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing premium-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
