The predicted salary is between 105000 - 125000 $ per year.
Main tasks and duties shall include:
- Managing and prioritising team workload to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Planning ahead for materials and resources to support your team.
- Training and upskilling of team members.
- Fabricating and assembling components according to design specifications.
- Operating a range of carpentry machinery and tools, including saws, routers and drills, to shape and assemble components efficiently.
- Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Working with a variety of materials, including wood, metal and composites, to ensure precise measurements and high-quality finishes.
- Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints resulting in carpentry tasks being executed accurately.
- Maintaining a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all finished products meet or exceed the established quality standards.
- Conducting thorough inspections of completed work to identify and rectify any defects or discrepancies, and undertake continuous improvement and feedback activities.
- Maintaining a safe work environment.
Qualifications Required:
- Qualified Carpenter with experience in modular/prefabrication.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans.
- Excellent carpentry skills including the use of power and hand tools.
- Demonstrate a high level of communication skills.
- Solid ability to plan and organise tasks and resources for your team to meet deadlines.
- A strong safety focus - promoting site safety standards.
- A minimum of two years experience as a Carpenter.
