Key Duties and Responsibilities may Include but not limited to:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical plans to ensure welding and fabrication work meets specifications.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on steel and other metal components.
• Set up and operate welding machines and fabrication tools safely and correctly.
• Cut, grind, clean, align, fabricate, and assemble metal frames, components, and structures.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, strength, accuracy, and structural integrity.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality control, and compliance with workplace health and safety procedures (including PPE use).
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition and support efficient workshop operations while meeting project deadlines.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven 1-2 experience as a Welder/Fabricator, preferably in fencing industry.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Skilled in various welding techniques and finishing processes.
• High attention to detail, ensuring weld and finish quality meets specifications.
• Familiarity with WHS safety standards and safe metalworking practices.
